Networking

ROA Africa network’s strength lies in research and lobby and advocacy, while its members have a better interactive and networking arrangements at the local and sub regional level with communities and groups.

ROA Africa seeks to develop a continental network well versed with issues on international aid architecture and development cooperation, which would provide support for awareness creation on implementation of multilateral and bilateral agreements, by local groups.

The overall objective is to maintain a comprehensive and up to date data base of the networks strategic partners, members and experts that the network has worked with in the past and those that will seek to join the network, for institutional memory and quick identification of the most strategic partners on various issues.

Capacity Building

Given the resource constraints, the network seeks to have targeted training workshops for its members and African CSOs on aid effectiveness and international development co-operation. The training seeks to enable the members carry out advocacy at the national and international level on issues of international aid systems and development cooperation.
